JUGANDO CON ACUARELAS

Hola!

Chao!!!

NEW STYLE and MFT SUPERSTAR

Hi everyone! It's been a long time without posting. I've been giving thought about beginning a new blog and starting from scratch, but then I realized that this blog is part of who I've been for the past few years, so why give it up?

This hobby is what makes my life easier, what takes my stress away. I don't have much free time, so I decided a change of style, a more clean and simple one.  Before a card would take me several days to finish it, between coloring, choosing the embellishments, diecutting, etc., etc., and barely I could finish only one card per week (working on it an hour almost daily).  Now I can finish up to three cards per week and that's awesome.

To begin with I'm submitting this card to the Card Design Superstar challenge of MFT. I hope you like it!!!

I'll be posting lots of cards in the next few days hoping that you enjoyed them and they inspired you to keep on creating!

Thanks for your visit :)

PAPELES Y MAS MAGAZINE

Hi everyone. The Papeles y Más magazine will no longer be a hard copy magazine, instead it will be moving slowly to digital. In the meanwhile the editor, Mari Esposito, will be showcasing the design team projects on Facebook. I will let you know more details later.

Here are my projects for the current February-April magazine.  I hope you like them:

LONG TIME...

Hi, it's been a long time without posting and much had happened in that time. The most exciting of all is that I've been selected to be part of the design team of a Puerto Rico magazine called Papeles y Más. It's an honor to be part of that great team!

I've been doing a lot of crafting, but sadly my computer went down for a few months and now that is fixed, I realized that I lost almost all of my photos.  I only have a few that were saved in my cellphone because, above all, my cell is new and not much could be saved.  But life goes on and there will be more projects to share.

Here are the photos of the layouts:

Here are some layouts with mixed media:

The following is my interpretation of one prepared by Frank Garcia from Prima:

And this one was published in Papeles y Más magazine on December 2014:

Here are some cards and projects:

I hope you like my projects and will see you soon.  Bye!

SCRAPBOOK EVENT!!!

Hi, it's been a long time since my last post.  It doesn't mean that I'm not working at my crafting table, it's just that I needed some time.  I will be posting little by little some of the cards I've done during this absence, but today I want to talk you about a scrapbooking event that we are going to be giving in the South area of Puerto Rico on October 18, 2014.  The teachers will be Zulma Santiago, Yvette Colón, Luz Rodríguez and myself, all from Puerto Rico.  I'll be posting sneak peeks of the projects soon.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY... AND GOODBYE!

Hi everyone!!! It's time for another challenge at Card Mania.  The theme is "Christmas in July". My image is a digi from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps.  Isn't it funny?  It is colored with Prismacolor pencils.

The sentiment is from Latina Crafter, who are celebrating their two years in the market.  Congratulations Diana and thanks for all your kindness!  You are very special to me!

The photos doesn't look good. A have a camera that hates the white color, LOL. Everytime I have a card with white as a main color, the photos look dull and kind of dark.  Sorry, maybe this Santa can bring me a new camera for Christmas, let's see.  LOL!

The last thing I want to say is THANK YOU all for your support throughout all these years and for all your lovely comments.  This will be my last post here (or maybe I'll come back once in a while, I still don't know, this is a hard habit to break, LOL!).  This decision comes in part because about a few weeks ago I was in a Scrapbook Convention and I was taking a class with Teresa Collins.  She told us her story about the reason why she does scrapbook and it hits my heart so hard that made me think about my priorities in this hobby that is leaving my kids scrapbooks so they know and love our family history.  Her story inspired me so much that I decided to put my priorities in order.  Also my kids are demanding so much from me that it's hard to keep up with my challenges.  They are my life and I want to give them quality time and leave them a treasure to keep about our family.  Again, thank you!  Bye, bye!!!
